It's a club, not just a class

Our mission

Technique first. Character always.

We believe judo is one of the best things you can hand a kid, and one of the best things an adult can come back to. Every class blends the same three things: sharp technique, hard-earned discipline, and a mat culture where newer members are looked after by the people who trained before them.

Our coaches compete themselves - locally, nationally, and internationally - and bring what they learn on the road straight back to the home mat. Whether you're chasing your first stripe or your next medal, you're training next to people who've done both.

What to expect

Inside the dojo

Rei (Respect)

Every class opens and closes with a bow. Respect for your partner, your coaches, and the mat is non-negotiable - it's also where everything else starts.

Safety on the mat

No one throws hard before they can fall safely. Ukemi (breakfalling) is taught and drilled before any real throwing begins, for every age group.

Train for life

Not everyone wants to compete, and that's fine. We coach toward whatever goal brought you in the door - fitness, confidence, competition, or all three.
